Studio Policies

Before reserving your session, please take a moment to read through the following.

These policies are not about restriction — they are here to protect the quality of your experience and the integrity of the work we create together.

  • A signed agreement and non-refundable retainer are required to reserve your session date.

    Your retainer secures time on the calendar and begins the creative planning process. Because session dates are intentionally limited, retainers are not refundable.

  • The session fee covers the time, planning, and creation of your portraits.

    Artwork and digital files are purchased separately at your ordering appointment.

    Reko Ponton Photography is a wall-first studio. Your images are created to be printed, framed, and displayed — not stored and forgotten.

    All artwork purchases are final due to the custom nature of production.

  • Sessions begin at the scheduled time.

    If you arrive late, the session will still conclude at the originally scheduled end time in order to respect other clients and maintain the flow of the day.

  • Life happens.

    If you need to reschedule, please notify the studio at least 48 hours in advance.

    One reschedule is permitted without penalty.

    Rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice may require a new retainer.

  • If a client does not arrive for their scheduled session and no prior notice is given, the session is considered canceled and the retainer is forfeited.

  • Reko Ponton Photography is known for a refined, observational style.

    Collaboration is always welcome. However, final creative decisions regarding location, lighting, posing guidance, and image presentation remain at the discretion of the photographer in order to preserve artistic integrity and brand consistency.

  • In the event of illness of the photographer, emergencies, accidents, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond the photographer’s control (force majeure), the session may be rescheduled to another available date.

    If rescheduling is not possible, the retainer will be refunded.

  • This studio operates intentionally.

    Prepared clients create space for relaxed, meaningful photographs. Clear communication, punctuality, and thoughtful planning ensure the best possible result.

    These policies exist to protect both the client and the creative process.
