The Island Family Story is a fully immersive, multi-day family experience in the Cayman Islands — designed by my company “The Dive Guide”, found at TheDiveGuide.net, to document connection, presence, and shared adventure in a way that feels unforced and deeply human.
This is not a styled shoot or a vacation add-on.
It is a guided experience built around real moments, thoughtful pacing, and finished artwork meant to live with you long after you return home.

Before the Trip
We begin with a personal consultation — in person or virtual — to understand your family, your season of life, and what this experience should become once you return home.
During the Experience
I document your time quietly and unobtrusively, focusing on connection, movement, and the in-between moments that often matter most.
After You Return Home
We meet again to curate and design the final artwork — albums, wall pieces, and film — created to live intentionally in your space.
Nothing is rushed. Nothing is left unfinished.

I spent five years living and working in the Cayman Islands, where life moves differently. Slower. Quieter. More connected.
That season reshaped how I photograph families.
The Island Family Story exists because certain chapters of family life can’t be rushed — and can’t be meaningfully documented in a single location or a single day.
Island time creates space.
Space for presence.
Space for story.

Each Island Family Story is custom planned, but most experiences include:
The Experience
• 3–5 nights of lodging in the Cayman Islands
• Two meals per day, curated or chef-prepared
• Chartered boat days (snorkeling, island hopping, time on the water)
• Guided snorkeling and/or scuba diving (experience-appropriate)
• Island evenings and unstructured family time
Photography & Film
• Full documentary-style coverage throughout the experience
• Underwater and topside photography
• Cinematic family film capturing the rhythm of your days
• No hourly limits — the story sets the pace
