Portrait Art,
Designed With the Your Home in Mind
The Portrait Session Experience
Every portrait session follows a clear, thoughtful process so nothing feels rushed or uncertain.
You don’t need to know what you want yet.
That’s part of what I help you figure out.
Serving Franklin, Williamson County and Nashville Families
Reko Ponton Photography is based in Franklin, Tennessee and serves families throughout Williamson and Davisson Counties.
Many clients come through personal referrals, local schools, and community partnerships.
We understand Middle Tennessee, lifestyles, and the value families place on meaningful artwork.
❋ Portrait Photography Designed for the Wall
A portrait session with me is not about digital galleries or image quantity.
It’s about creating finished photographic artwork — designed intentionally for your home or workspace.
From planning to installation, the process is simple, guided, and unhurried.
If you’re looking for portraits meant to live on your walls — not just on a screen — you’re in the right place.
❋ Before Your Portrait Session
Before we photograph anything, we begin with a short consultation.
This planning conversation helps us:
determine where your artwork will be displayed
choose clothing and color palettes that photograph well and age well
decide what type of finished portrait makes the most sense for your space
This ensures the session is photographed with the final artwork in mind — not as an afterthought.
❋ During the Portrait Session
Portrait sessions are calm, natural, and lightly guided.
You won’t be asked to perform or hold stiff poses.
Instead, I guide you toward natural movement, expression, and moments that feel real.
Most clients leave surprised by how comfortable the experience felt.
That’s intentional.
After the Portrait Session
After your session, you’ll return for a personal design appointment.
During this appointment, we:
view your portraits together
design artwork specifically sized for your walls
select finished pieces that fit your home and aesthetic
You won’t be asked to make decisions alone or guess what will work.
Everything is designed collaboratively and intentionally.

HEIRLOOM ALBUMS
Heirloom albums hold the full story of your session in one finished piece.
They’re designed for the images you love but don’t need on the wall — a quiet, tactile way to return to the moments over time.
THE STORY SERIES
Three images, designed together to show movement and personality.
This format works especially well in hallways and transitional spaces, where a sense of motion feels natural.
WALL ART
Designed to live with you for decades.
These pieces are created for prominent walls and larger spaces, where they can be seen every day and quietly become part of your home’s story.
THE PORTRAIT STUDY
A collection of nine images designed to be seen together.
This format allows space for different expressions, gestures, and moments — a fuller view than a single portrait can offer.
SQUARE SERIES
A relational set designed to be viewed together.
Ideal for images that matter deeply but don’t call for a large wall piece — perfect for smaller spaces or grouped displays.
ACRYLIC WALL PIECE
A contemporary presentation finished under thick acrylic.
This piece has a clean, modern feel with polished edges and a floating effect that gives the image presence from every angle.
Best suited for modern spaces and minimal interiors.
I’m Reko Ponton
I care about photographs lasting longer than the moment they were taken.
That’s why I’m particular about the way images are finished and displayed. These products aren’t add-ons to me — they’re the natural conclusion of the work. A photograph doesn’t feel complete until it has weight, scale, and a place to live.
I’m drawn to pieces that are quiet, intentional, and well made. Albums that invite you to slow down. Wall art that feels settled in a space, not temporary. Series that let multiple moments exist together without competing for attention.
I don’t believe images should disappear into folders or feeds. I believe they should be lived with — passed by every day, noticed differently over time, and allowed to age alongside the people in them.
That’s why I offer a small, considered collection of finished pieces. Fewer options. Better materials. Decisions made with purpose.
